Fies — Edition for Remaining Vacancies (2026/2)

The Fies remaining-vacancies call (Edital nº 76/2026) opens a selection process to offer student financing for undergraduate courses at private higher-education institutions in Brazil for the second semester of 2026. Applications for students are conducted via the Portal Acesso Único and the process includes verification stages by institutions to ensure candidates meet attendance and academic conditions. The call reserves 50% of vacancies for low-income applicants registered in CadÚnico and allows, for pre-selected students, financing up to 100% of tuition charges in qualifying cases. Institutions must register their participation and offer of vacancies via the Sisfies system within specified institutional deadlines.

Candidates who took the ENEM from 2010 onward with an average score of at least 450 across five tests and a non-zero grade in the essay, with gross monthly family income per capita up to three minimum wages, and who meet the institution's minimum attendance requirement for the second semester of 2026. Fies Social reserve applies to applicants with family income per capita up to half a minimum wage with updated CadÚnico registration.

Students apply exclusively via the Portal Acesso Único between 2026-10-26 and 2026-11-03; institutions register offers and issue Terms of Participation via the Sisfies module FiesOferta (1–7 Oct, with rectifications 8–14 Oct).
