CfI: Engineering Biology for Defra and FSA Phase 1

CfI: Engineering Biology for Defra and FSA Phase 1 is a funding competition run by UK Research and Innovation to develop and scale engineering biology platforms, products and services. It offers competitive project funding to organisations to accelerate engineering biology solutions relevant to Defra and the Food Standards Agency. Contracts will be awarded to a single legal entity. Organisations may work with subcontractors as part of their proposals.

Project funding: a share of up to £3 million inclusive of VAT.

To lead a project applicants must be a UK-based organisation of any size. Organisations can work alone or with other organisations as subcontractors; contracts will be awarded to a single legal entity.
