DAAD In-Country/In-Region Programme in Developing Countries 2027 (Fully Funded)

The DAAD In-Country/In-Region Programme in Developing Countries is a fully funded government scholarship for international students pursuing postgraduate Master’s or doctoral PhD studies. It supports study at universities in the applicant’s home country (In-Country) or within their home region (In-Region) to strengthen higher education systems in developing countries. Coverage includes tuition, health insurance, a monthly stipend, and additional allowances such as travel and research funding.

Holds a first academic degree (Bachelor's/Master's or equivalent) with above-average results; degree completed no more than 6 years before the application date; national or permanent resident of an eligible country in the relevant region; strong motivation and language proficiency in the language of instruction.
