Wheatley Bursary

The Wheatley Bursary is a one-year undergraduate scholarship at the University of Queensland for students in the Bachelor of Arts or a dual program with a major or extended major in political science and/or public policy. The award targets students demonstrating academic excellence and financial hardship. The scholarship value is at least $8,000 and the number of awards may vary.

Enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts or a dual program with a major or extended major in political science and/or public policy; have gained credit for 16 to 24 units in an approved program with at least 4 of these units in a relevant field in a prior semester; 20 years old or older from 1 January 2026.
