Information

Applications are open for a new Public Health Reporting Fellowship for mid-career journalists. Fellows receive funding to support reporting projects at the intersection of public health policy and health care delivery, with resources and mentorship provided by the program. The fellowship lasts six months, with projects to be published or distributed by July 2025 and distributed across NPCJI networks and partner sites.

Benefits

Up to $7,500 in funding plus mentorship, orientation, training content, and ongoing support from public health experts and journalists.

Eligibility

Be a U.S.-based journalist with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience and commit to a large-scale public health reporting project.
