Information

The DOE Computational Science Graduate Fellowship (CSGF) is a multi-year fellowship supporting students pursuing a Ph.D. in DOE-related fields. It provides financial support for up to four years and requires full-time enrollment at an accredited U.S. university. Fellows are expected to conduct research in areas of interest to the U.S. Department of Energy and to spend the summer conducting full-time research, enrolled in classes, or on a practicum assignment. The fellowship is intended for applicants who will pursue uninterrupted study toward a doctoral degree.

Eligibility

Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident and plan full-time, uninterrupted study toward a Ph.D. at an accredited U.S. university. Eligible applicants include undergraduate seniors, first-year graduate students (no more than one year of coursework completed), current master's students who will enroll at a different institution for Ph.D. studies, or employed individuals matriculating into graduate school.
