South & East Network for Social Sciences Postdoctoral Fellowships 2025

The South & East Network for Social Sciences Postdoctoral Fellowships 2025 provides funding for early career researchers to consolidate their PhDs through developing publications, expanding networks, and developing research and professional skills. Fellows receive salary for the duration of the award and up to £10,000 to support their work, with additional costs covered by the university hosting the fellowship (e.g., office space and IT support).

Applicants must have completed their PhD at a UK university and must have been awarded their PhD or passed their viva with no changes or only minor corrections by the application deadline, and must have their PhD awarded by the fellowship start date. Applicants should have no more than 12 months of active post-doctoral experience since viva by the deadline.

SENSS uses a two-phase application process: an expression of interest by 10 January 2025, followed by a full application by 25 March 2025 if shortlisted; interviews will be held on 16 May 2025.
