Kohli Fellowship for Sociology

The Kohli Fellowship for Sociology is a two-year postdoctoral fellowship for early-career sociologists to pursue advanced research in Europe, hosted at either the WZB Berlin Social Science Center in Berlin, Germany, or the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, Italy. Fellows develop an independent research project, engage in fieldwork and training, and participate in seminars, conferences and workshops within the host institutions. The programme aims to strengthen publications and international scholarly networks for recently completed PhDs or those within five years of graduation.

Open to scholars of all nationalities who hold a doctoral degree in sociology or a closely related field; PhD must have been earned no more than five years before the fellowship start date; must present a strong research proposal suitable for the host institution.
