Research and Advocacy Specialist

The Research and Advocacy Specialist is a role for an experienced policy, research, advocacy or digital financial services professional. The position supports evidence generation, translates research into policy recommendations and advocacy messages, and helps influence policies and practices around inclusive instant payment systems in Africa. The role involves developing research questions and frameworks, conducting desk and policy research, and producing policy briefs and advocacy materials in collaboration with AfricaNenda Foundation.

Applicants should have a master’s degree in a relevant discipline and at least seven years of progressively responsible experience in research, policy analysis, advocacy or digital financial services.
