Global EbA Fund 2026: Small-Size Grants for Climate Adaptation Projects in SIDS & LDCs

The Global EbA Fund invites proposals for small-size grants to support innovative ecosystem-based adaptation projects in Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and Least Developed Countries (LDCs). Grants can be up to US$250,000 and are intended to strengthen enabling conditions for EbA with project durations of 18–24 months. Eligible applicants include international and national NGOs, CBOs, Indigenous Peoples’ organisations, universities, research institutes, think tanks, private sector climate organisations, and consortia with local partners.

Financial grant up to US$250,000, project support to build climate adaptation capacity, and potential for knowledge exchange and policy impact through EbA practices.

Eligible applicants include international NGOs, national NGOs, community-based organisations, Indigenous Peoples’ organisations, universities and academic institutions, research institutes and think tanks, private climate organisations; for country-level implementation, a consortium with local partners is required and at least 25% of the budget must go to local organisations; government institutions may participate but cannot receive funding directly.
