Women in Economics and Finance Scholarship in Honour of Ghazala Azmat

The Women in Economics and Finance Scholarship in Honour of Ghazala Azmat is a Queen Mary University of London award for students joining eligible postgraduate taught programmes in the School of Economics and Finance. The scholarship awards £6,000 to be deducted from tuition fees. Up to eight awards are available for the September 2026 and January 2027 intakes. Recipients must be enrolled full-time and contribute 30 hours to promoting postgraduate studies in Economics and Finance during their studies.

£6,000 towards tuition fees; up to 8 awards; confirmed when admissions status is 'unconditional firm' and on enrolment.

Applicants must be or identify as a woman, achieve a minimum 2:1 Honours degree or overseas equivalent, meet the entry and English language requirements for an eligible postgraduate taught programme, hold an offer for an eligible programme for the September 2026 intake (and January 2027 for listed programmes), be fully self-funded, not be in receipt of another University or full-fee scholarship, and be enrolled full-time.

No separate application; scholarships are awarded automatically to eligible postgraduate taught offer holders and confirmed upon unconditional firm offer and enrolment.
