TWAS-CSIR Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme 2025

TWAS-CSIR Postdoctoral Fellowships are tenable in CSIR research laboratories and institutes in India for a minimum of six months and a maximum of twelve months. The programme invites young scientists from developing countries to pursue postdoctoral research in emerging areas in science and technology, with facilities available in CSIR laboratories in India. Fellows receive a monthly stipend to cover living costs, food and health insurance, plus subsidized accommodation.

Applicants must be from developing countries (excluding India), be 45 years old or younger on 31 December of the application year, hold a PhD in a field of science or technology, be regularly employed in a developing country with a research assignment, and have acceptance from a CSIR host institution in India.

Submit the Acceptance Letter from a CSIR institution to TWAS via the online portal and also copy CSIR by the deadline.
