Valmet Scholarship Program

The Valmet Scholarship Program provides undergraduate scholarship awards to dependent children of Valmet U.S. and Canadian employees who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university. The program is administered by Scholarship America, which selects recipients based on academic performance, leadership, work experience, goals, personal circumstances, and a recommendation; financial need is not considered. Awardees receive a monetary scholarship for the upcoming academic year, with renewal possible for up to three additional years contingent on continued eligibility and maintaining full-time enrollment.

Dependent children of active regular full-time Valmet U.S. and Canadian employees with at least one year of continuous employment as of the application deadline; graduating high school seniors (or final year of upper/higher secondary school for students outside the U.S.) planning to enroll full-time in undergraduate study for the upcoming academic year.

Applications are submitted through Scholarship America; requirements include transcript, online recommendation, and other materials as specified by the sponsor.
