Rivers Casino Portsmouth Team Member Scholarship Program

The Rivers Casino Portsmouth Team Member Scholarship Program provides financial awards for the dependent children and grandchildren of Rivers Casino Portsmouth team members, as well as for eligible team members pursuing undergraduate or graduate study. Awards are issued through Scholarship America and are used toward enrollment for the academic year. Up to ten scholarships are awarded, with a $3,000 award for the academic year (or $1,500 if graduating in the upcoming Fall term).

$3,000 award for undergraduate or graduate enrollment for the academic year; eligibility extended to dependents and grandchildren of Team Members for undergraduate study.

Applicants must be Rivers Casino Portsmouth Team Members in good standing, with specified minimum employment and student status, and must be a dependent child or grandchild of a Team Member for certain eligibility criteria.

Applicants upload required materials electronically (transcript of grades, test scores if applicable) as part of the application; notifications are sent in July; payments are made in August while the recipient remains employed in good standing.
