Castle Harlan – Vulcan Metals Corp. College Scholarship Program

The Castle Harlan – Vulcan Metals Corp. College Scholarship Program provides a scholarship for dependent children of Vulcan Metals Corp. employees to pursue full-time undergraduate study at an accredited college or university. The program is administered by Scholarship America and selects up to nine recipients each year, with a $5,500 award per recipient. Awards are non-renewable, but applicants may reapply in subsequent years if eligible.

Dependent children, age 24 and under, of full-time Vulcan Metals Corp. employees in the United States and employees of Vulcan Metals Corp. London, Ontario, Canada with at least one year of employment as of the application deadline; for US applicants, high school seniors or graduates planning to enroll or students already enrolled in an undergraduate program; for Canadian applicants, students in the final year of secondary school or graduates planning to enroll or already enrolled in full-time university-level studies for the upcoming academic year. Vocational/technical studies are not eligible.

Submit transcript and online recommendation; complete the application through Scholarship America's portal; selections made by Scholarship America; notifications in July.
