Military Commanders’ Scholarship Fund

The Military Commanders’ Scholarship Fund provides undergraduate scholarship awards for dependent children of select active duty, reserve, National Guard or retired members of the United States military who plan to pursue full-time study at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university. Scholarships are administered by Scholarship America on behalf of the New York Chapter of the American Logistics Association (ALA). Eligible awards are typically distributed annually and cover undergraduate study costs.

$5,000 awards for undergraduate study; one-time, non-renewable.

Dependent children of active duty, reserve, National Guard or retired U.S. military members with valid Exchange & Commissary privileges, who are high school seniors or graduates planning to enroll full-time in an undergraduate program.

Applicants must submit a transcript, proof of service (DD214 or equivalent), and an online recommendation; the first 100 applicants are notified by June.
