Alliance Coal Scholars Program

The Alliance Coal Scholars Program provides scholarships to dependents of Alliance Coal, LLC and Affiliates employees who plan to pursue postsecondary education at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school. Scholarships are awarded annually and include renewable awards for up to three additional years based on academic performance, continued employment of the parent, and program continuation by Alliance Coal. Awards are distributed to high school seniors or graduates entering full-time postsecondary study, with several award tiers described for top candidates and additional teacher achievement funds.
