Norman L Bergey Scholarship Program

The Norman L Bergey Scholarship Program provides undergraduate scholarship awards funded by Bergey’s Inc. through Scholarship America to assist dependent children of Bergey’s Inc. employees with pursuing full-time undergraduate study at accredited two-year or four-year colleges, universities, or vocational-technical schools. Awards are awarded annually and are not renewable, with up to 30 recipients receiving varying amounts. The total authorized distribution is $30,000, with individual awards ranging from $1,000 to $5,000, determined by the submission date and number of applications.

Awards for undergraduate study; payments in August; potential renewal not applicable (not renewable) but applicants may reapply if eligible.

Dependent children, age 25 and under, of Bergey’s Inc. full-time employees with at least one year of employment as of the application deadline; high school seniors or graduates planning to enroll, or students already enrolled, in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school. Children of Bergey’s Inc. shareholders are not eligible.

Applicants must upload required materials (including a transcript) electronically as part of the application; other specifics are determined by the sponsor at their sole discretion.
