USADF Off-Grid Energy Challenge 2025 (up to $250,000)

The USADF Off-Grid Energy Challenge 2025 provides grant funding to support private companies and organizations that are majority African-owned and -managed, with operations in specified African countries. It aims to increase electric power generation and access to electricity through off-grid solutions, prioritizing productive uses and women’s participation in the energy sector.

Grant funding up to $250,000 and access to technical assistance and governance support.

Applicants must be majority African-owned and managed private companies or organizations, including non-profit and not-for-profit, registered and operating in one of the listed African countries.
