Penn Mutual Scholarship Program

The Penn Mutual Scholarship Program provides scholarships funded by The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company and administered by Scholarship America for the children, grandchildren, or other family members of Penn Mutual employees. Awards include the Pat Chiarlanza Memorial Award and several $2,500 scholarships for undergraduate study at accredited colleges, universities, or vocational schools. Applicants are evaluated on academic performance, leadership, volunteer and work experience, goals, and personal circumstances.

One-time scholarships awarded for undergraduate study; payments are made in August.

Applicants must be children, grandchildren, or nieces or nephews of Penn Mutual employees and be high school seniors or graduates, or current postsecondary undergraduates, planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study for the upcoming academic year.

Submit transcripts and required materials electronically through the Scholarship America application system.
