USPA Intercollegiate Scholarship Program

The USPA Intercollegiate Scholarship Program provides undergraduate scholarships to active members of the U.S. Polo Association who plan to pursue four-year college study. Recipients receive a monetary award that may be renewed for up to three additional years, contingent on continued eligibility and performance. The program is administered by Scholarship America on behalf of the U.S. Polo Association and is awarded to a limited number of finalists each year.

Applicants must be a current USPA member in good standing and be a high school senior or graduate, or a current postsecondary undergraduate; must plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university with an existing intercollegiate polo program for the upcoming academic year; must have a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Applicants must submit standard scholarship materials as required by Scholarship America and the USPA; selection is conducted by Scholarship America with criteria including polo participation, academic record, leadership and personal statements.
