Bill Palmer Legacy Scholarship Program

The Bill Palmer Legacy Scholarship Program provides scholarships for employees of Applebee’s restaurants or their children to pursue undergraduate or graduate study at accredited two- or four-year colleges, universities, or vocational-technical schools in the United States. Recipients receive monetary awards to support qualified education-related expenses, with special Founder’s Awards for top-ranking high school seniors. Awards are not renewable, but eligible applicants may reapply in future years if they meet the requirements.

$5,000 award for undergraduate or graduate study; two Founder’s Awards of $10,000 each for top high school seniors; payments are made in mid-July; funds are for tuition, fees, books, and required supplies.

Be a part-time or full-time employee at an Applebee’s restaurant in the United States, or the child of such an employee; be a high school senior or graduate, or a current undergraduate or graduate student; plan to enroll in undergraduate or graduate study for the upcoming academic year at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational‑technical school.

Applicants submit required materials to Scholarship America; one online recommendation must be submitted by February 19, 2026 at 3:00 PM Central Time; notifications are sent by April.
