Shady Canyon Golf Club Scholarship Program

The Shady Canyon Golf Club Scholarship Program is a scholarship initiative administered by Scholarship America in partnership with the Orange County Community Foundation. It provides financial awards to employees of Shady Canyon Golf Club and their dependent children who plan to pursue undergraduate or graduate studies at accredited two- or four-year colleges, universities, or vocational-technical schools for the full academic year.

Scholarship awards range from $5,000 for two-year college attendees to $15,000-$25,000 for four-year college or graduate students, and $10,000-$12,000 for vocational/technical schools; payments are made directly to educational institutions

Open to current employees of Shady Canyon Golf Club (with specified employment duration and hours) and their dependent children who plan to enroll in full-time or part-time undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school; dependents are under age 30 at the deadline and meet defined criteria. Applicants may be high school students, graduates, current undergraduates, or graduate students.

Submit required materials including a transcript, online recommendation, and other materials by the deadline; the process is administered through Scholarship America; applicants are notified by email in June
