Elam Baer and Janis Clay Epilepsy Scholarship

The Elam Baer and Janis Clay Epilepsy Scholarship provides a $1,500 award to U.S. students who live in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, or Iowa and have an epilepsy or seizure diagnosis. Eligible applicants include high school seniors, graduates, current college undergraduates, and graduate students planning to enroll in undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in the upcoming academic year. Awards are non-renewable and may be used for certificates, undergraduate, or graduate study.

$1,500 scholarship award; funds disbursed August after selection.

Residents of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, or Iowa who have an epilepsy or seizure diagnosis; high school seniors, graduates, current college undergraduates, or graduate students planning to enroll in accredited post-secondary study in the upcoming year.

Applications are reviewed by Scholarship America's evaluation team; overview requirements include transcript, Diagnosis Verification Form, and supporting materials as specified by Scholarship America.
