Africa Summer School (Econometric Society) 2027

The Africa Summer School of the Econometric Society is a three-day advanced training programme in economics and econometrics. It brings leading academics from around the globe to teach and transfer methods to African-based researchers and students using a train-the-trainers approach. The 2027 edition is scheduled to take place at Makerere University School of Economics in Kampala, Uganda and directly precedes the main Africa meeting of the Econometric Society.

Three days of advanced training in economics and econometrics delivered by leading academics; a train-the-trainers format intended to foster long-term knowledge transfer.

African-based researchers and students are the target participants.
