Information

The FFAR Fellows is a three-year, cohort-based fellowship program supporting PhD students working on food and agricultural research. The program offers a Stipend + Professional Development category that provides annual student support and a Professional Development category that provides program participation without direct student payments; a limited number of Rockey FFAR Fellow scholarships waive the sponsor requirement. Fellows participate in professional development activities administered by the program lead institution, North Carolina State University, and receive matched sponsorship from the Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research and non-federal sponsors.

Benefits

$49,500 per year for Stipend + Professional Development Fellows to cover tuition, fees, stipend and related costs; professional development training for all fellows; cohort membership and networking; university overhead and program management funding as described.
