SIAM Travel Awards Program (2027)

The SIAM Travel Awards Program provides competitive travel funding to students and early-career researchers to support attendance and presentation at SIAM conferences. Awards give fixed monetary support for domestic and intercontinental travel and typically include complimentary conference registration. Priority is given to applicants who will present at the conference.

$650 (domestic) or $800 (intercontinental) travel stipend; typically complimentary conference registration (or additional $50 when registration is not included).

Student Travel Awards: any full-time student in good standing. Early Career Travel Awards: applicants must be within six years of their Ph.D. at the time of the conference and, per NSF grant terms, must be affiliated with a U.S. institution at the time of the conference.

Applicants must log in with a SIAM account and submit an application via the SIAM Apply portal, including an applicant statement, CV, and letter of recommendation (required for students; recommended but not required for early career applicants).
