ETH AI Center Doctoral Fellowship 2027

The ETH AI Center Doctoral Fellowship 2027 offers fully funded, salaried doctoral positions at ETH Zurich for students pursuing interdisciplinary research at the intersection of artificial intelligence and fields such as medicine, robotics, climate science, or mathematics behind machine learning. Selected fellows receive a three-year (with potential fourth year) research appointment with joint supervision from ETH AI Center and affiliated departments. Applicants can apply while finishing their master's degree, provided they meet the degree-completion timeline.

Fully funded full-time employment contract for three years (with possible fourth year to finish the thesis); joint supervision; opportunity to pursue interdisciplinary research and optional tracks.

Current master’s students who meet the completion timetable and who have a master’s degree (or equivalent) by the start of the fellowship; a bachelor’s degree alone does not suffice.
