University of Sydney Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships – International 2027

The University of Sydney Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships are funded postgraduate research scholarships for international students undertaking eligible higher degree by research programs at the University of Sydney. They support doctoral and research master's candidates across a wide range of disciplines. The package includes a yearly living stipend, a tuition-fee offset and additional allowances such as relocation and thesis allowances.

A$44,293 annual stipend (2027 rate); 100% tuition-fee coverage (RTP Fee Offset) for eligible research periods; Overseas Student Health Cover; relocation allowance; thesis allowance; stipend support for up to 14 research periods (doctoral) or up to 7 research periods (research master's).

Open to international students who apply for and are admitted to an eligible higher degree by research at the University of Sydney; applicants must meet the University's HDR admission and scholarship requirements, including an outstanding academic record, research experience and supervisor support where required.
