Alliance Française Immersive Features Lab 2024

The Immersive Futures Lab is a workshop organized by Alliance Française in partnership with Fallohide Africa for intermediate-level creatives in film, XR, or immersive media. It offers sessions on immersive storytelling, XR production, and hands-on experience with cutting-edge XR tools, led by industry experts from France and Kenya. Participants will collaborate on real-world XR projects and gain insights into the global XR market and legal/technical aspects of the industry.

Learn from industry experts in immersive storytelling and XR production; hands-on experience with XR tools including 360° video capture and headset demonstrations; insights into the global XR market and navigating legal/technical challenges; collaboration with peers and mentors in a creative environment focused on real-world XR projects.

Intermediate-level creatives in film, XR, or immersive media; from backgrounds in cinema, graphic design, or technology; actively engaged in the XR/immersive tech community in Kenya.
