II Zagrebin Readings: Philosophy of Art and Cultural Policy of Contemporary Russia

The II Zagrebin Readings is an academic conference devoted to the philosophy of art, cultural policy, and theatre studies in contemporary Russia. It includes a plenary session and three round tables on aesthetic categories, state ideology and the role of theatre. The conference accepts authored materials for review and offers publication of selected articles in the journal Design. Art. Industry (DAI). Participation is offered in a mixed (onsite and remote) format in Chelyabinsk, Russia.

Inclusion in the conference programme; coffee breaks; peer review of submitted articles; possibility of publication in the journal Design. Art. Industry (DAI) for selected articles (up to 20 pages).

Cultural scholars, philosophers, historians, theatre practitioners, educators, teachers, leaders of youth projects, representatives of public organisations, activists and experts may participate and submit materials.
