ICIQ Fully-Funded PhD Programme 2027

The ICIQ Fully-Funded PhD Programme is a doctoral research and training position at the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) in partnership with Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV). It supports exceptional graduate students to undertake a PhD in chemistry and related disciplines, providing a pre-doctoral employment contract and enrolment costs refunded. The contract is renewable annually for up to four years and includes social security coverage.

Pre-doctoral employment contract with monthly salary, social security (healthcare, pension, unemployment benefits), annual contract renewal for up to 4 years, tuition/enrolment costs refunded, eligibility for interruption for parental or health reasons.

Open to highly qualified graduate students of any nationality with a Master’s or equivalent degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Physics, Chemical Engineering or related disciplines completed by enrolment; candidates should have an excellent academic record and evidence of English proficiency (B2/First/IELTS 6 preferred) or be prepared for an interview.
