Applications are open for the Amnesty International Graduate Governance Fellowship 2025 in South Africa. The fellowship is a nine to eleven-month program starting January 2025 that supports NGO governance work, with exposure to Amnesty’s partners in human rights and structured job-shadowing opportunities. The fellow will work with Amnesty International South Africa’s Board, Executive Director and staff on governance policy research, documentation and related activities.

Eligibility
Open to South Africans who have a law degree (LL.B. or equivalent) or a related degree, with fluency in two South African languages recommended.

Submit a motivational letter, short CV with three references, a sample of your own writing on any legal or policy topic, and a copy of your academic transcript by 1 November 2024 to za.hr@amnesty.org.za
