The ArtsWave Black and Brown Artist Grant for Individual Artists 2025 offers financial support to individual artists in the Greater Cincinnati Region. Projects should be able to be showcased in July 2025 and may involve collaboration with community partners, with a focus on Truth and Innovation related to health, race, and equitable futures.

Eligibility

Applicants are individual artists (sole proprietor or LLC sole member) or teaching artists, Black/Indigenous/People of Color, 18 years or older, full-time resident in the 15-county ArtsWave service area before January 1, 2024 and at award time, and must have taxable income related to their work or verifiable body of work.

Application

Submit the application materials via Submittable; a draft proposal can be submitted by October 22, 2024 for staff review.
