The Google Student Researcher, PhD, Winter-Summer 2027 program places PhD students on research projects across Google’s research teams, covering areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer science, data science, software engineering, and related disciplines. It offers a flexible, project-based research engagement with compensation and potential collaboration across multiple Google locations. Applicants remain enrolled in their PhD programs and may work on projects from January to August 2027, with the possibility of remote arrangements in some cases.
