McKinnon-Walker Research Fellowship 2027

The McKinnon-Walker Research Fellowship 2027 is a fully funded PhD fellowship offered by the University of Wollongong for outstanding PhD candidates commencing in 2027. It provides a substantial stipend, project funding, tuition fee support and professional development opportunities, with two fellowships available for the 2027 commencement. The fellowship supports research aimed at benefiting Pacific Islander, Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples in health, education, law or public policy.

Annual stipend (AUD 55,537) for up to 3.5 years, AUD 20,000 total research funding, tuition fee waiver up to four years, professional development opportunities, mentoring and networking.

Open to domestic and international students commencing a PhD at the University of Wollongong in 2027.
