Margaret Harrap Bursary

The Margaret Harrap Bursary is a one-off financial award administered by the University of Melbourne for current enrolled students who demonstrate genuine financial need. It is available to students at undergraduate, honours, graduate coursework and graduate research levels, including both domestic and international students. Around eight bursaries are awarded each round, with payments of up to AUD 1,000 paid as a single amount. Recipients may be asked to share their name and course details with the donor and to provide a note of appreciation or brief report if requested.

Applicants must be currently enrolled at the University of Melbourne (undergraduate, honours, graduate coursework or graduate research) and provide evidence of financial need. Applicants are normally full-time students but part-time students may be eligible.

Submit the University of Melbourne Student Bursaries application and Student Financial Assessment form during an open application round; eligible applicants are automatically considered for the Margaret Harrap Bursary.
