The UNDP Enhancing Capacities of Women and Youth-led Enterprises for Regional Trade (ECoWYERT) Program 2026

The UNDP ECoWYERT Program is a capacity-building training initiative for young people, entrepreneurs, traders and enterprises to strengthen skills and explore opportunities in regional trade. It offers practical, market-focused support tailored to participants at different stages of employment or business development and across six African countries. The program is led by UNDP in partnership with Mastercard Foundation and implemented by COMFWB, BTCA and TDF from 2025 to 2030.

Practical employability, entrepreneurship and business-management skills; financial literacy and management; business planning and growth strategies; marketing and customer development; digital business tools; business formalisation guidance; cross-border trade readiness; knowledge of regional markets under AfCFTA.

Open to young people, entrepreneurs, traders and enterprises seeking to strengthen skills and grow their operations.
