African Peacebuilding Network (APN) Research Policy Fellowship 2025

The APN Research Policy Fellowship supports African scholars who have been recipients of an APN IRF fellowship within the past five years. Fellows are placed in African regional or national policy think tanks, institutions, or advocacy organizations for up to 6 months to conduct policy-relevant research and engage with policymakers and practitioners.

Up to $12,000 in funding; affiliation with a host African institution; opportunities to engage with policymakers, conduct policy-oriented research, and publish policy-related analyses.

Applicants must be former APN IRF fellows from the past five years (2020-2024) and must be interested in policy-related research; they must currently reside in an African country.

Online application form, a research proposal and bibliography, current CV, proposed timeline and budget, two reference letters, and a language evaluation if required.
