SADC Media Awards Competition 2025

Applications are open for the SADC Media Awards Competition 2025, organized by the Secretariat of the Southern African Development Community. The awards recognise best media work in disseminating information on SADC across Print Journalism, Radio Journalism, Television Journalism and Photojournalism, with a prize of $2,500 for the first prize in each category. Entrants must submit entries accompanied by proof of nationality to their National Adjudication Committee in their respective SADC member states.

First prize of $2,500 per category; certificates; prize distribution through national points.

All SADC nationals who have entries published or broadcast in 2024 by registered media houses or websites within SADC member states may enter, with submissions in one of the SADC working languages.
