Healthy Food Policy Fellowship 2026

The Healthy Food Policy Fellowship 2026 is a funded programme for Ph.D. candidates to develop expertise in health economics, nutrition, marketing, food access and health behavior, with the aim of strengthening national research capacity to inform food policy and healthier food environments. It is hosted by Vital Strategies and funded by Bloomberg Philanthropies, with focus countries Ghana, Kenya, Vietnam, Uganda, and Indonesia. The fellowship supports doctoral-level research that can influence national public health policy and food environments.

Fully funded doctoral-focused fellowship supporting research activities, capacity building, and policy-relevant outputs.

Ph.D. candidates who have not yet enrolled in their upcoming doctoral program and reside in Ghana, Kenya, Vietnam, Uganda, or Indonesia.
