A funded traineeship of up to 6 months within the Political, Press and Information Section of the EU Delegation to Sierra Leone. The programme aims to provide hands-on experience in international relations and public diplomacy, including tasks such as drafting press reviews, updating websites and social media, drafting press releases, and supporting political and economic analysis. The tentative start dates are June and October 2026, and eligibility is limited to Sierra Leone citizens who hold a bachelor’s degree in law, social sciences, political sciences or journalism.

Benefits

Monthly grant to cover living expenses; exposure to diplomacy, international relations, and EU external affairs within a diplomatic mission.

Eligibility

Applicants must be Sierra Leone citizens with a B.A. degree in Law, Social Sciences, Political Sciences or Journalism and have less than one year of professional experience after graduation as of the signing date.
