The CONACYT Doctoral Scholarship funds Mexican students to undertake a full doctoral degree in France or to continue an ongoing doctorate. The programme supports scientific research and strengthens academic cooperation between Mexico and France. Scholarships are cohort-based and include financial support for living costs, social coverage and reimbursement of university tuition fees.

Monthly stipend, annual social-coverage allowance, reimbursement of university tuition fees (up to €9,780).

Applicants must be Mexican nationals wishing to pursue or continue a doctorate at a French university or doctoral school; they must present a validated research project and obtain a definitive letter of acceptance from the French institution and respect government priority research areas or propose an eligible scientific topic.
