Andrew "Sparky" Seever Scholarship

The Andrew "Sparky" Seever Scholarship is an annual financial award administered by the Muscular Dystrophy Family Foundation (MDFF) and funded by Busey Bank. One $2,000 scholarship is awarded each year to Indiana residents diagnosed with muscular dystrophy or a listed neuromuscular disease to support academic or skills-training pursuits. Eligible study paths include two- and four-year colleges, trade schools, certificate programs and other continuing education. Recipients are selected based on financial need, academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, and character.

$2,000 scholarship

Applicants must be Indiana residents diagnosed with muscular dystrophy or a neuromuscular disease listed by the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), enrolled with the Muscular Dystrophy Family Foundation (MDFF), and may be students of public, private, homeschool or collegiate institutions or individuals seeking continuing education or skills training.

Access and complete the scholarship application on the MDFF website, submit required personal, academic and medical documentation; apply between March 1 and June 1. Recipient announced by July 31 and funds awarded by August 31.
