Nick & Helena Patti Foundation Scholarship

The Nick & Helena Patti Foundation Scholarship provides financial awards to persons of Italian parentage who are college students and who are orphans or were raised in foster homes. Preference is given to music majors beyond the freshman year, though students in other fields are eligible. Recipients must attend the JCCIA scholarship award presentation at the December JCCIA meeting and reception. Selection is based on academic merit, talent, application quality and commitment to the Italian-American community.

$6,500 scholarship award; recipients must attend the December JCCIA award presentation and reception.

Applicants must be of Italian heritage, residents of the State of Illinois, enrolled in an accredited institution of higher education having completed at least one year of college coursework, with a strong academic record; musical talent is required if applying as a music major.

Complete the JCCIA scholarship application, gather required supporting documentation, combine into a single PDF and submit the complete PDF electronically to JCCIA by the application deadline.
