John Willett International Scholarship

The John Willett International Scholarship is awarded by Griffith University to support students in the Master of Global Development program. It provides a 50% tuition fee scholarship for the selected recipient for up to two years. The scholarship is intended for applicants from selected Asian countries and requires full-time enrolment beginning Trimester 1. Recipients must meet Griffith University's academic and English language admission requirements.

Applicants must be citizens of one of: China, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, or Vietnam (and not citizens of Australia or New Zealand). Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 4.0 on a 7-point scale or equivalent, have applied for admission to the Master of Global Development at Griffith by the scholarship deadline, meet academic and English language requirements, and begin Trimester 1 as a full-time student.

Complete the online scholarship application form and have applied for admission to the Master of Global Development program; applications are reviewed by the scholarship provider and selected applicants are notified.
