AI Capacity Building Program for Ethnic Minority Learners 2026

The AI Capacity Building Program for Ethnic Minority Learners 2026 is a blended practical training course on applied artificial intelligence organised by the Ministry of Education and Training (Vietnam) in partnership with RMIT University Vietnam. The programme delivers six hands-on training sessions between 17 October and 7 November 2026, covering generative AI, prompt-writing, information verification, building learning assistants, data analysis with AI support and AI-assisted programming. It aims to expand access to AI skills for ethnic minority university students, strengthen critical thinking on AI use, and encourage development of AI-based products for learning, research or community problems.

Six practical training sessions (blended in-person and online), development of AI application skills, guidance on applying AI to study and career preparation; outstanding student products will be selected and recognised at a closing event.

Open to ethnic minority university students at participating Vietnamese higher education institutions; no prior programming knowledge required.
