Sustainable Medicines Manufacturing Innovation: CR&D round 2

Sustainable Medicines Manufacturing Innovation: CR&D round 2 is a competitive funding competition to support the development and adoption of sustainable technologies for the manufacturing of medicines. The programme is funded by Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation, in partnership with the Department of Health and Social Care. It supports collaborative projects led by eligible UK-registered organisations and aims to accelerate sustainable manufacturing practices in the medicines sector. The competition will allocate up to £7 million across awarded projects.

Grant funding to support collaborative projects developing and adopting sustainable medicines manufacturing technologies (programme total up to £7 million).

The competition is open to collaborations only. To lead a collaborative project the lead organisation must be UK-registered and may be a business of any size, a research and technology organisation, a catapult centre, a not-for-profit organisation, a public sector organisation or a charity. The consortium must include at least one UK-registered micro, small or medium-sized enterprise claiming grant funding on the application.
