Make Our Planet Great Again (MOPGA) Postdoctoral Fellowships 2027

The Make Our Planet Great Again (MOPGA) programme offers fixed-duration (12 months) postdoctoral research fellowships in France for international early-career researchers working on climate change and environmental challenges. Projects must fall within defined sustainability and climate-related research areas, including earth system sciences, climate change and sustainability science, energy transition, social issues related to environmental questions, and One Health approaches. Fellows receive a monthly stipend, installation allowance and full health coverage under the French system while hosted in a French research laboratory.

Monthly stipend €2,500 net; one-time installation allowance €500; comprehensive health, liability and repatriation insurance; integration with French social security; 12-month fellowship status.

Applicants must hold a doctorate awarded less than five years before the application date, must be foreign nationals (not French) and must not reside or work in France at the time of application; previous MOPGA beneficiaries are ineligible.
