Afrobarometer Emerging Scholars Workshop 2024

The Afrobarometer Emerging Scholars Workshop is a pan-African research-focused workshop that aims to build analytical capacity using Afrobarometer data. It brings together early career researchers and experienced mentors to present papers or research designs, receive feedback, and engage in professionalisation sessions and roundtable discussions. Travel costs, accommodation, meals, and related expenses are covered by the organisers, with participants responsible for other personal costs.

Open to early career researchers at PhD level (within seven years of PhD) or who have taken up an academic position in the past five years, across disciplines related to Afrobarometer data.
